NYSW 3022
3022 was idling atop this viaduct by the Museum of Science on West Jefferson Street. There is a station platform up there too. But I don't know anything else about this location. Did this place used to be a regular station in downtown Syracuse?

Tom Beckett General That's near Armory Square. There is/was a station there, it's closed now. NYSW used it for some excursions and it was a stop on the OnTrack train, an RDC that ran from Carousel Mall to Syracuse University. It was once the Lackawanna station in Syracuse. The last DLW trains ran in 1958, though EL ran freight on the line til the end in 1976. 2/18/2015 1:51:01 AM
